About Angela Pinckney
Angela Pinckney is a children’s author and literacy advocate who believes stories can inspire young readers to discover the joy of reading.
She is the founder of RockThaCradle Press, an independent publishing imprint dedicated to creating stories that nurture creativity, confidence, and kindness in children.
Through her books and school visits, Angela encourages children to use their imagination while learning valuable lessons about friendship, helping others, and believing in themselves.
Angela lives in South Carolina and is especially passionate about helping the children in the South Carolina community become lifelong readers and thinkers.
Angela has spent many years working with and supporting children through education and community programs.
Her experience includes:
• Sunday School teacher for children ages 6–9
• After-school teacher assisting third grade students in Mecklenburg County Public Schools
• Charleston County Parks volunteer programs (background check completed)
Angela enjoys connecting with young readers and inspiring the next generation of storytellers.
